I love fall and frost. It was wonderful to wake up to the artistry of nature this morning.

Frost painted leaves

Every year I wander around looking for pretty leaves. I bring them inside and watch them dry and crumble or iron them with wax paper and allow them to stay flexible for a longer amount of time.

This year I decided to take leaf portraits. This way, I was able to photograph the rich colors and the shadows and keep them exactly how I captured them.

Leaves Hit the Asphalt

The grace of the old petals now coated with ice created a peaceful beauty. From yellow to tans, golds, and browns, the ability to age in grace and beauty.

The bees are loving the blossoms on my milkweed plants.

This was my Mom's cat that I inherited. He was the sweetest boy and I got to love him for 2 years.

The sun was just coming up and I loved the glow and shadows in this flower.
